Membership is open under six categories.
Annual fees scale to organisational capacity. Civil-society and women’s-cooperative seats are fee-free, sponsored by the Donor Forum. Voting rights are equal on technical questions, weighted on financial.
Government
Federal ministries, regional state authorities, municipal authorities. Fee: at federal rate-card.
Private sector
Stove and fuel MSMEs, distributors, manufacturers, carbon-finance operators. Fee: scaled to revenue.
Civil society
NGOs, women’s cooperatives, faith-based organisations. Fee: sponsored by the Donor Forum.
Research
Universities, research institutes, independent researchers. Fee: institutional or fee-free for individuals.
Donors
Bilateral, multilateral, foundation and private donors funding clean cooking in Somalia.
Individuals
Practitioners, advocates, students. Fee-free; one vote on technical questions.
Application takes about ten minutes.
A short form, a category selection, the bylaws to acknowledge. The Steering Committee reviews applications monthly. Ratification at the next General Assembly.
