CCAS is run in plain sight. An elected Steering Committee sets direction between assemblies; an independent Secretariat in Mogadishu coordinates the day-to-day; and six working-group leads carry each pillar. Every name here is accountable to the General Assembly of all members.

Former director, Federal Ministry of Energy & Water Resources. Chairs the Steering Committee and the General Assembly.
Abdiqani Mohamed
Policy lead. Former head of the federal regulatory unit; carries the Federal Clean Cooking Strategy.
Faisal Mire
Partners lead. Former East Africa programme director at the Clean Cooking Alliance.
Halima Yusuf
Market lead. Founder of Banadir Stoves; placed 1,200 Tier-3 stoves in twelve months.
Dr. Fadumo Hussein
Research co-lead. Hargeisa University Energy Lab; runs the national baseline survey.
Eng. Asha Warsame
Skills lead. Former director of the Hargeisa Technical Institute energy programme.
Independent.
Mogadishu-based.
The Secretariat is hired by, and reports to, the Steering Committee. It runs the membership register, the open-data portal, finance and the day-to-day coordination of the six pillars. The Executive Director is appointed for a renewable three-year term.
