We collect as little as possible.
CCAS is a non-profit national association, not an advertising business. We collect the minimum data needed to reply to you, process a donation, or manage a membership — nothing more. We never sell your data, and we never share it for marketing.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address and message you submit, so we can reply. When you donate, our payment provider collects the details needed to process the transaction; CCAS does not store your card number. When you apply for membership, we collect the organisational and contact details on the application form.
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, route messages to the relevant working-group lead, process donations, administer membership, and meet our legal and audit obligations. We do not use your data for profiling or advertising.
Cookies & analytics
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The admin area uses a single session cookie for login. If we add privacy-respecting visitor analytics in future, they will be aggregate-only and never tied to your identity.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to act on your request — the relevant CCAS staff or working-group lead, and our payment provider for donations. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry. Donation records are kept for the period required by audit and tax rules. Membership records are kept while your membership is active and for a reasonable archive period after.
Your rights
You may ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@cleancooking.so and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled systems. The admin area is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
